Honouring the patron saint of fishermen, this is one of the most beautiful celebrations in coastal towns like Castillo de la Duquesa and San Luis de Sabinillas.
A mass is held in the morning, followed by a maritime procession where the statue of the Virgin is carried through the streets before being placed on a boat and taken out to sea. The night ends with fireworks and festivities.
