The Corner House: Prosecco, Pizza & 90s Nostalgia

If you’re in need of a day filled with Prosecco, pizza, and pure nostalgia, then look no further than The Corner House's Bottomless Brunch — a fabulous new addition to Sabinillas' social calendar. We had the pleasure (and the hangover) of attending their very first one, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

The theme? Irish boybands. Yes, you read that right. While Boyzone and Westlife themselves may have been busy (or, you know, unaware), the resident DJ, Chris Birkett, took the reins and delivered an unforgettable soundtrack of 90s and early 2000s anthems. His uncanny ability to know exactly what to play and when to play it kept the energy high and the singalongs loud.

As promised, the Prosecco and cocktails flowed freely, and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, in rolled the pizza. Supplied by the local legends at Pizza Italia (conveniently just around the corner), the piping hot slices were nothing short of heavenly — a must-try if you haven’t already indulged.



Now, as the drinks kept coming, so did the... enthusiasm. What started as a civilised gathering quickly morphed into a scene reminiscent of teenage girls queuing outside the Top of the Pops studios back in the day. Only this time, the "teenagers" were a group of local women, fuelled by cocktails and nostalgia, singing like they had no jobs to go to the next morning. Spoiler: some of us didn't.
